AFCON: 3 European Clubs React To Nigeria’s 3-1 Win Over Uganda

Three European clubs have reacted to Nigeria’s 3-1 win over Uganda in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, on Tuesday.

The clubs are Sevilla, Club Brugge and Trabzonspor.

Recall that the Super Eagles defeated Uganda in their final Group C tie in Morocco, courtesy of a brace from Raphael Onyedika and a goal from Paul Onuachu.

Reacting, Sevilla, who have Akor Adams in their squad, tweeted: “Minutes for @AkorjeromeAdams in a 3rd win in a row for Nigeria at AFCON. The Super Eagles are flying!”

Similarly, Club Brugge, who have Onyedika in their squad, wrote on X: “Two goals in only 5 minutes at the @CAF_Online for Rapha! @NGSuperEagles.”

On their part, Trabzonspor, who have Onuachu in their squad, hailed the Super Eagles striker by posting a picture of him celebrating after scoring a goal for Eric Chelle’s side against the Cranes.
