Former South Africa international, Teko Modise has questioned Super Eagles striker, Akor Adams regarding his ability to be more clinical in front of goal for Nigeria at the ongoing AFCON in Morocco.

Modise spoke while analysing Adams’ display in Nigeria’s AFCON quarter-final 2-0 win against Algeria at the weekend.

Despite putting his name on the scoresheet, the Sevilla star missed a few clear chances to score for the Super Eagles against the Desert Foxes.

Speaking on SuperSport, Modise said,
“I think it is important because we were off the screen complaining yesterday. How many chances does he [Akor Adams] need [to score]?

“Adams works so hard, he gets the right opportunities.

“But then what maybe he might improve his performance from a club level perspective is being able to utilize the opportunities that he gets.”
