Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has declared that teammate Ademola Lookman is his brother.
The two players had a heated moment on the pitch but have since reconciled, demonstrating their strong connection as teammates.
After delivering an impressive performance in Nigeria’s 2-0 quarter-final victory over Algeria on Saturday, Osimhen addressed the incident in an interview with Canal+.
The Galatasaray attacker said: “Lookman is my brother. What happened was just a misunderstanding, but you know, this is football.
“There is nothing to say about my brother. We are very close on the field.”
Throughout the tournament so far, Osimhen has been in fine form, contributing four goals and two assists, while Lookman has added three goals and five assists for Nigeria.
