Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has mocked Moroccan players and fans over their loss to Senegal in the AFCON final.

Morocco lost the AFCON final 1-0, following Pape Gueye’s goal.

But clips from the match showed Moroccan players and stadium officials snatching towels meant to keep Edouard Mendy’s gloves dry.

They took the towels and repeatedly threw them into the crowd.

The actions of the Moroccans were similar to the treatment they gave Nwabali during the AFCON semi-final match against Nigeria.

Nwabali had to return to the Super Eagles’ bench a couple of times to get a new towel after the ones he had were snatched away.

Following Morocco’s defeat, Nwabali took to his X account and mocked the Moroccans to wipe their tears with the towels.

The Chippa United shot-stopper said in pidgin English: “Make Una use all my towel Una carry wipe Una tears.”
