Nigerian comedian I Go Save has praised Nigerian doctors as he speaks on his daughter’s health struggle.
On his Instagram story, he disclosed that his daughter’s simple ear infection allegedly turned into prolonged pain that lasted almost two years. He revealed that they later began getting help from a Nigerian doctor online and are now seeing major improvements.
The comedian called on Nigerian doctors to create a medical consultation app for Nigerians living abroad, especially those in the UK. He criticised the UK medical system, claiming it has become clueless and nonchalant even in serious emergencies.
“I just wish Nigerian doctors could build an app where Nigerians in the diaspora, especially in the UK, can consult doctors and get treated quickly.
The UK medical system is steadily becoming clueless and nonchalant, no matter how serious the emergency is.
I’m still shocked at how my daughter’s simple ear infection turned into a prolonged pain that has lasted almost two years.
Shout-out to my Nigerian family doctor, who has been helping us online, and we’re already witnessing drastic improvements.
Thank you, Dr Irhabor (Crespo).
God bless every Nigerian doctor putting in the work.”
