Nigerian music star Davido has reacted to the news of the APC naming Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as Campaign Chairman for Osun State.
Ahead of the election next month, the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, as the Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the Osun State governorship election. Government
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the governorship election to hold Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Reacting to the appointment, Davido said he likes the Governor because he is from his wife’s state; however, they would meet on the field (meaning election day).
“Chai, and I like Hope o. My wife’s state. Hmmm. No worry, we go meet for field”.
