Rafiu Durosinmi has set his sights on becoming top scorer in the Belgian Pro League this season, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Durosinmi opened scoring for Genk against Zulte Waregem on Sunday only for the home team to fight back and win 2-1 on the opening day of action.
Despite the defeat, the Nigeria international was named Man of the Match.
The striker said he would love to follow in the footsteps of his compatriots Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare by winning the top scorer’s price at the end of the season.
“I want to score; I want to finish high in the standings, and I also want to go for the top scorer title. I have always dreamed of that,” Durosinmi told DAZN.
Genk will host Westerlo in their next league game at the Cegeka Arena on Saturday.
