Olajumoke Orisaguna, the bread seller turned model, has responded to critics after a video of her dancing while rocking a bum short, a distressed shirt and pretending to be smoking made the rounds on social media.
To celebrate this year’s Easter, Olajumoke shared a video on social media which showed her singing an indigenous song with her hand cupping her nether region. She also held her hand as though she was smoking.
Her mannerisms in the video raised concerns on social media with some people alleging that she had started taking drugs.
In a new video she shared online, Olajumoke said she doesn’t smoke or drink and that people should not see her in that light. She said she was only making content which was why she pretended to be smoking.
Olajumoke became an overnight sensation after she unknowingly strolled into TY Bello’s photoshoot with international singer Tinie Tempah. Nigerians who saw the photo of her with a tray of bread on her head gushed about her and this made her become famous, with brands clamouring to work with her. Sadly, the public attention was not sustained and Olajumoke soon retreated from the public scene.
