Former presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad has revealed  the only condition under which he would support a Christian-Christian presidential ticket in Nigeria,

Bashir, who was a media aide to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, made this known in response to a question from an X user.

@Jayden_071 asked Bashir: “But you haven’t answered where someone asked if you would accept a Christian/Christian ticket.”

Bashir responded: “If the political party I belong to presents two Christians whom I believe are the best options for the country, why not?”

Recall that there was a public outrage in 2022 when the ruling party presented a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. Despite the outrage from Christians, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, both Muslims, are presently the President and Vice President of Nigeria.
