Victor Boniface has hit back at critics amid his goal scoring drought for Werder Bremen, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Werder Bremen joined the Greens on loan from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

The Nigeria international has however failed to register a goal in seven outings for Bremen.

Boniface’s poor form in front of goal has led many to question his ability.

The striker however said he is unperturbed by critics, insisting that his focus remains on improving every day.

“Like I said, media says a lot of things. When you don’t score, then people want to talk but trust me you don’t know anything about me. I’ve seen things but I am strong and anybody that knows me, knows that I am a strong guy; those things don’t really affect me,” Boniface told Soccer Laduma during an exclusive media roundtable.
