A powerful act of generosity is gaining attention after Peter Okeleke Ebuka marked his birthday in an unexpected way that left many emotional.

The Chief Executive Officer of Petokemp Estate Solutions, Mr. Peter Okeleke Ebuka, marked his birthday in a meaningful way by donating over 300 bags of rice to underprivileged members of the community at City of Settlement, also known as Odommiri Bethesda.

The event attracted hundreds of beneficiaries including widows, elderly people, and persons with disabilities from the area and its surroundings.

At the occasion, Ebuka described the gesture as his way of expressing gratitude to God and extending kindness to those in need, saying there was no better way to celebrate than by ensuring the vulnerable had food on their tables.

He added that he sees himself simply as a steward of what he has been blessed with.

The birthday donation came shortly after a similar act of kindness, when Ebuka visited the Ogwashi-Uku Correctional Facility and distributed food items, toiletries, and cash to inmates, also taking time to pray with and encourage them.

One inmate, who preferred to remain anonymous, expressed deep appreciation, saying Ebuka treated them with dignity at a time when many had felt forgotten.

The gesture drew warm commendations from religious and community leaders. Reverend Prophetess Dr. Mummy P of Africa praised him as a young man with a generous heart, noting that his choice to celebrate with the hungry rather than throw lavish parties was truly admirable.

A widow and beneficiary, Madam Comfort Nwoko, was moved to tears, saying she had not been able to afford rice in six months before Ebuka’s intervention.

Community leader Chief Monday Okoh also noted that Ebuka’s generosity was not a new development, describing him as someone who gives consistently and genuinely, regardless of political seasons.

Ebuka, reflecting on his motivation, said his own life experiences had shown him God’s grace, and that extending that same grace to others was the least he could do.

He also called on fellow business leaders and Nigerians to remember those who are struggling, stressing that true wealth lies in the number of lives one is able to uplift.

The event concluded with prayers, thanksgiving, and the sharing of rice among all those present.
