CAF Interclub Competitions: Nigerian Clubs To Begin Continental Campaigns September

Rangers, Rivers United, and Shooting Stars will begin their continental quest in September, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Rangers, and Rivers United will campaign in the CAF Champions League.

Shooting Stars, and President Federation Cup champions will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Nasarawa United, and Ikorodu City will do battle in the final of the President Federation Cup at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Saturday, 11 July.

The preliminary round of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup is scheduled for between September 4-6, while the reverse fixture will hold from September 11-13, 2026.

Second Preliminary Round is scheduled for 16-18 October 2026, with the decisive return fixtures taking place between 23-25 October, 2026.

The group stage of both competitions will begin at the end of November.
