Former Arsenal and Chelsea player Cesc Fabregas has given an update on his future at Serie A side Como amid reports linking him to the8⁸ Premier League.

Fabregas was speaking in an interview where he was asked about his coaching career and the possibility of him moving to the Premier League. The Spaniard has been fantastic since he took up the coaching role at Como which has caught the attention of some top clubs in Europe with Chelsea leading the line as they seek a new coach.

What did Fabregas say about the possibility of leaving Como?

“The Premier League is the best league in the world. I have always been very, very clear about it. I felt it as a player, I feel it as a coach, as a fan. But [José] Mourinho told me one day when I was at Chelsea ‘I still have 30 years to work. So I could be here [Como] for 10 years, and you can still go to the Premier League in 12, 15 years.”

The Spaniard stressed his commitment to the long-term project at Como, stating that it is “very unlikely” he leaves anytime soon. He highlighted both the progress of the team and his personal situation a s key factors, emphasizing that he feels settled at the club and that his family’s happiness in Como plays a major role in his decision.

Fàbregas has also downplayed links to clubs like Chelsea, insisting that he is fully focused on his current work rather than entertaining speculation. He described it as “stupid” to think about other opportunities right now, reiterating that his priority is preparing for upcoming matches and continuing the team’s strong Serie A campaign.
