Wilfred Ndidi was on target as Leicester City defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-1 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It was the defensive midfielder’s fifth goal of the season.

The win boosted Leicester City’s chances of securing promotion to the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca’s side now sit at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table with 91 points from 43 games.

West Brom remain on course to secure a playoff spot despite the defeat.

Ndidi opened the scoring for Leicester City in the 22nd minute, while Jamie Vardy added the second 25 minutes from time.

Jed Wallace reduced the deficit for the visitors 14 minutes from time.
