Here is a list of all players released by Chelsea and who will depart the club in June 2026, ahead of the new club football season.

Chelsea have confirmed that four players will leave the club when their contracts expire on June 30, ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

The players departing Stamford Bridge are:

  • Brodi Hughes – Defender
  • Richard Olise – Midfielder
  • Sam Rak-Sakyi – Midfielder
  • Jimi Tauriainen – Midfielder

Hughes ends a 13-year spell with the Blues after progressing through the academy and spending last season on loan at AFC Wimbledon. Olise departs after a decade at the club, having earned first-team recognition during Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League campaign.

Rak-Sakyi, who made four senior appearances for Chelsea, also leaves after coming through the academy ranks, while Finnish youth international Tauriainen brings an end to his six-year stay at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have thanked all four players for their service and wished them success in the next stage of their careers.
