Media personality and actress Nancy Isime has sparked mixed reactions after sharing her views on Christianity, saying she does not consider herself a typical Nigerian Christian.
Speaking during a recent conversation, Nancy said, “Christianity is brainwashing. I am not your typical Nigerian Christian and I don’t want to be. At the time Jesus lived, he was accused of witchcraft and that’s one of the reasons he was killed but 2,000 years later, we’re worshipping him.”
Her comments quickly went viral on social media, with many Nigerians divided over her remarks. While some agreed with her perspective on religion, others strongly criticized her comments, especially her statement about Jesus Christ.
