Clubs That Have Qualified For The 2026/2027 Champions League

Here are the clubs across different leagues that have qualified for the highly anticipated 2026/2027 Champions League season.

The race for places in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League is beginning to take shape, with several of Europe’s biggest clubs already confirmed for next season’s competition. The tournament will again use the expanded 36-team league phase format, with more clubs set to join once domestic leagues and qualifying rounds are completed.

UEFA has also confirmed that England and Spain have secured extra league-phase places for the 2026/27 season through the European Performance Spots system, which rewards the two best-performing associations in European competitions. That means both countries will have additional representation in next season’s Champions League.

As of the latest confirmed list, 18 clubs have already qualified for the 2026/27 Champions League league phase. The final line-up will be completed after the remaining domestic places and qualification rounds are decided.

Premier League — England

England already has three confirmed clubs in the Champions League, with Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United booking their places. With the Premier League also earning an extra spot through UEFA’s European Performance ranking, more English clubs could still join them before the final list is completed.

  • Manchester United

La Liga — Spain

Spain has one of the strongest early representations, with four clubs already confirmed. Barcelona and Real Madrid will once again headline the Spanish contingent, while Villarreal and Atlético Madrid have also secured their places. Spain’s extra European Performance Spot further strengthens La Liga’s presence in next season’s competition.

  • Villarreal
  • Atlético Madrid

Serie A — Italy

Inter Milan are currently the only confirmed Italian club on the list. The Nerazzurri have maintained their place among Europe’s elite and will be part of the Champions League league phase again in 2026/27.

  • Inter Milan

Bundesliga — Germany

Germany will be represented by three confirmed clubs so far. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all sealed their places, giving the Bundesliga a strong presence in the league phase.

  • Borussia Dortmund
  • RB Leipzig

Ligue 1 — France

Paris Saint-Germain will return to the Champions League, joined by Lens as France’s confirmed representatives so far. PSG remain one of Europe’s biggest names, while Lens’ qualification adds another strong French presence to the competition.

  • Lens

Eredivisie — Netherlands

The Netherlands will have two confirmed clubs in the Champions League league phase. PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord have both secured qualification, continuing the Eredivisie’s presence on Europe’s biggest club stage.

  • Feyenoord

Primeira Liga — Portugal

Porto have qualified from Portugal and will once again compete in the Champions League. The Portuguese giants remain one of the country’s most consistent European representatives.

Süper Lig — Turkey

Galatasaray have secured its place in the 2026/27 Champions League. The Turkish champions will return to the league phase as one of the confirmed clubs from outside Europe’s top five leagues.

More clubs will be added to the list as domestic seasons conclude and the Champions League qualifying rounds are completed. The 2026/27 edition is expected to feature another highly competitive league phase, with several traditional powerhouses already confirmed.
