A Federal High Court in Warri, Delta State, has granted permission for the publication of a winding-up petition filed against Monimichelle Sports Facilities Construction Limited over an alleged unpaid debt owed to former NFF president, Amaju Pinnick.

Pinnick claimed he loaned the company $100,000 and N5 million in 2023 to support a FIFA-funded mini stadium project in Ugborodo, Delta State, after the firm’s CEO, Ebi Ezekiel Egbe, allegedly requested financial assistance.

According to court documents, the company signed an agreement acknowledging receipt of the funds and promising repayment, but allegedly failed to do so despite repeated demands.

Justice A. Nganjiwa dismissed the company’s application to stop the publication of the petition and granted Pinnick leave to advertise the winding-up proceedings.

Pinnick is asking the court to wind up the company on the grounds that it is allegedly unable to pay its debts.
