Singer, Davido has hit back at Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, after the politician mocked his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The political drama began on Thursday, August 6, during an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally ahead of the upcoming August 15 Osun State governorship election. While addressing the crowd, Governor Okpebholo urged Osun residents to vote Adeleke out of office, claiming the incumbent governor focuses entirely on dancing rather than fulfilling his executive duties.
Responding early Friday morning, Davido took to his Instagram Stories to defend his uncle by targeting Okpebholo’s academic credentials. The singer shared a screenshot allegedly showing Governor Okpebholo’s West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results, which highlighted multiple poor grades, including D7s and E8s.
