A video of a youth leader in Warri, Delta State, flogging some male students of Uwangue College after he spotted them wandering the streets during school hours has gone viral on social media. TV& Video
The youth leader saw the students in their school uniforms walking casually on the streets. In a bid to discipline them, he gathered them under a shade and began to ask them why they weren’t in school. The students claimed they had gone to one of their friend’s ‘ house to cook rice and after eating, they thought to go for a walk.
The youth leader said he is where he is today because he failed to pursue his education diligently.
