Nollywood actor-turned-preacher Woli Arole has addressed those tendering apologies to Lola Omotayo Okoye, the wife of singer Peter Okoye.
Newsunplug reported on Friday that Peter in his final tell-all series, accused his late mother and siblings of maltreating his wife when she was pregnant. He recalled how his late mother had pressured Lola to leave him alone, and how his brothers insisted that Lola abort the baby and even forged an email to frame her.
Following his statement, many have been tendering apology to Lola for blaming her for Psquare fallout.
Addressing them on one of his social media pages, Arole, noted how many who castigated and judged Lola are now apologising to her.
Arole admonished the public to stop being quick to judge, especially on social media. He said people follow a lot of wrong narratives, and this has damaged reputations and lives.
He stressed that one should be careful on social media.
“I see a lot of people now saying, ‘Lola, we are sorry’, same people that judged and castigated her. See, listen, don’t be too quick to judge, especially on social media.
