Nollywood actress turned preacher, Eucharia Anunobi, has issued a strong caution to young women about relationships and premarital commitments, urging them to be more discerning when dealing with romantic partners.
According to her, some men intentionally deceive women with marriage promises just to take advantage of them. She warned women not to make intimate or emotional commitments based solely on such promises.
In her words:
“Engagement is not marriage. Male prostitutes, you are here; you will promise girls that you want to marry them, just because you want to use them. Dear ladies, do not ever open your treasure for any man just because he says he wants to marry you. Let him come and meet your family members first.”
She further encouraged women to insist on proper family introductions before taking any relationship seriously, emphasizing the importance of caution and self-respect in romantic dealings.
Her statement has since generated reactions online, with many debating her strong choice of words and message on modern relationships.
