Edo Decides: Governor Obaseki loses his LGA to APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of the governorship election in Oredo Local Government Area of the state, where Governor Godwin Obaseki hails from.

According to results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo polled 30,780 votes.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Asue Ighodalo polled 24,928 votes while Labour Party scored 5,389 votes.
