Yoruba Nollywood actors have shown their love and respect for the late Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom with their grand gesture.
Newsunplug reported that the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom in Yewa, Ogun State, Dr Oba Yisa Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan, had passed away at the age of 55 on June 27th, 2026, following complications arising from a surgical procedure.

Following his death overseas, the monarch’s remains were brought back to Nigeria for his burial.


In a video making rounds online, some Yoruba Nollywood stars had stormed the Muhammad International Airport to receive his remains.

Spotted in the videos making rounds were Faithia Williams, Seyi Edun, Ronke Oshodi, Kemi Korede, Akin Boss and more. They all wore matching white T-shirts with the monarch’s picture on them.
