Former Super Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has claimed that Arsenal is”cheating” their way to the Premier League title.
Mikel Obi also insisted he personally wouldn’t recognize them as champions, because they are winnning games “illegally”.
The ex-Chelsea player was referring to the league leaders’ dominance from set-pieces.
Mikel Obi said on talkSPORT: “They’ve cheated their way to winning the Premier League.
“So I wouldn’t recognize them as winners, because for me it’s illegal the way they’re winning games.
“It’s illegal unless the Premier League right now from this weekend stamp that out. We don’t want to see that in the game.”
Arsenal is seven points clear of Manchester City, having played one more fixture.
