Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher is sticking with Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.
Carragher was analyzing last weekend’s matches on Monday Night Football.
City held on to beat newly-promoted Ipswich Town 3-2 at the Etihad on Saturday.
A day later, Arsenal needed a late goal from substitute Noni Madueke, to edge a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest.
These results see City sit top of the table with 18 points, three more than Arsenal in second place.
But Carragher insists that Arsenal remain the team to beat.
He said: “I still see Arsenal as the team to stop. If they dropped more points on Sunday they could have been five behind Man City.
“We obviously don’t know what’s going to happen with City, we have to take it as it is right now.
“Arsenal would have been a bit worried about being five points behind someone like Man City and dropping points in quick succession but they got the win.”
