Chelsea have released their squad for the 2025-26 Premier League season.
The list surprisingly has the likes of Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi, who had been earlier removed from the first team.
They were named in the squad despite being part of Enzo Maresca’s ‘bomb-squad’.
Recall that all 20 clubs in the English top flight submitted their final 25-man squads for the 2025/26 season on Friday.
Sterling and Axel Disasi were excluded in the Blues Champions League squad and many assumed the Premier League squad would look similar to their Europe one.
Chelsea named only 19 players in their Premier League squad and it notably included Sterling, Disasi and David Datro Fofana.
