Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said it is a “joke” to compare his situation with Pep Guardiola’s at Manchester City.

Ahead of Sunday’s Derby, Amorim cliams he is under more pressure than the Spaniard.

United currently sit in ninth spot, while City are 13th after suffering back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.

But Amorim insists he is under more pressure, as Guardiola has already achieved success at the Etihad during his nine-year spell.

“No, you cannot compare,” Amorim said.

“The guy is winning all the time. He can relax if he’s not winning anymore.

“I have to prove myself every day here and I feel that. So I’m really comfortable with that and I think that every day that I come here, that I have to do better.

“To compare me with the situation of Guardiola is just a joke. I think we have bigger problems.
