Former France head coach, Didier Deschamps has informed Manchester United that he is not interested in becoming their next head coach.
According to the UK Mirror, United had reached out to Deschamps about the possibility of replacing Michael Carrick.
The Red Devils saw the 58-year-old as a coach with winning history and experience.
But Deschamps has made it clear to the Premier League outfit that he is not keen on the Red Devils’ job.
Carrick is fighting to save his job at Old Trafford after picking up only one win from their opening nine league fixtures.
Deschamps has not managed a club since leaving Marseille in 2012 and will continue to assess his options before taking on his next role.
