Former Nigeria captain, John Mikel Obi, has said Chelsea could lose up to four key members of the current squad in the summer.

Speaking on his podcast, Mikel Obi calimed the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer, Marc Cucurella and Moises Caicedo could be getting calls from other clubs.

He questioned the Blues’ current transfer model and if it will see the team win tropies.

“Right now, we have players like Cole Palmer, players like Enzo Fernandez, Marc Cucurella, Moises Caicedo… when they start getting phone calls from the likes of Real Madrid,” Mikel Obi said.

“Florentino Perez [Real Madrid president] is a master in stealing players from clubs.

“That’s why I question it [Chelsea’s current model] and that’s why I say: what is the objective? The objective of this club has to be winning, winning trophies.”
