Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville and former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards have predicted the team to win the Premier League title.

This comes after Manchester City defeated Arsenal 2-1 in Sunday’s Premier League tie at the Etihad Stadium.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville and Richards backed Man City to win the Premier League title ahead of the Gunners.

“I don’t think both teams (Arsenal and Man City) will win every game. I think Man City have a massive, massive advantage now,” Neville said.

“I think next Saturday night [at home to Newcastle] has got a lot of danger [for Arsenal].

“That tension will still be there next Saturday, and Arsenal have to cope with that and come through it.

“For the first time this season, I am going to say [the Premier League ribbons] are going to be blue.”

On his part, Richards added, “I always said if Man City wins this game, it would give them the momentum.

“I thought Arsenal were very good today, but Man City just got over the line.

“I said: if Man City win this game, they win the league.”
