Chelsea midfielder, Enzo Fernandez, has expressed his admiration for club legend Frank Lampard, insisting that he wants to emulate the Englishman.
The Argentina international hailed Lampard as his football idol and shared that he has extensively studied videos of the former Chelsea midfielder.
Fernandez spoke ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Wolves on Saturday evening.
He told Sky Sports, “Frank Lampard is an inspiration. I have watched a lot of videos of him since coming to Chelsea.
“He is an idol, and I hope to follow in his footsteps at Chelsea.”
Fernandez, a World Cup winner, joined Chelsea from Portuguese club Benfica in 2023.
