Former Chelsea defender, Paul Parker, has said that the club made a mistake in allowing Noni Madueke to join Arsenal.

According to Parker, Madueke is even a better player than his new teammate, Bukayo Saka.

Madueke joined Arsenal from Chelsea this summer in a £52 million deal.

Parker told WhichBookie that Chelsea should not have sold the England international to Arsenal.

He said this after the winger scored for England against Serbia in the World Cup qualifying game on Tuesday.

Parker noted that the winger’s ability to dribble past defenders makes him more of a threat than Bukayo Saka.

“Chelsea let Noni Madueke go to Arsenal even though he’s one of England’s best wingers, and he was probably their best player against Andorra.

“I thought it was a strange decision for Chelsea to let him go.

“With the way he plays, I actually think he’s better than Bukayo Saka. Saka doesn’t go on the outside.”

Madueke left Chelsea for Arsenal during the FIFA World Cup, which the Blues finally won in the United States of America.
