Chelsea manager, Liam Rosenior, has denied any rift with his players following their Premier League 3-0 loss against Brighton on Tuesday.

Rosenior watched as Brighton humiliated Chelsea at the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night.

Danny Welbeck, Jack Hinshelwood, and Ferdi Kadioglu scored the goals for the hosts against the Blues, leaving Rosenior’s men in seventh place on the Premier League table.

When asked if there was a rift between him and his players after his side’s poor performance against Brighton, Rosenior said at his post-match press conference, “Judging from the performance on the field, it may be the case, but I don’t think there is really a disconnection between the players and me.

“It is the players’ lack of fighting spirit and lack of belief that led to this perception from the outside, which I cannot refute.”

Chelsea’s next game is against Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final fixture this weekend.
