Former Manchester United defender, Nemanja Vidic, has listed his top five defenders that currently play in the Premier League.
Vidic picked the Arsenal duo William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
In an interview with CGTN Sports Scene, the Serb also named Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven, Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Manchester City’s Ruben Dias.
Van de Ven clocked a speed of 37.38 km/h during Spurs’ clash with Brentford in January, to set the record for the fastest player in Premier League history.
Van Dijk has established himself as one of the best since his £75million move to Liverpool in 2017 and helped the Reds win six trophies, including the Premier League and the Champions league.
Dias has been a key part of the City squad that has won nine trophies in the last four seasons, including four Premier League titles in a row.
