The squad number for Chelsea’s latest recruit, Morgan Rogers, has been revealed.
The England international officially joined Chelsea on Tuesday from Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old signed a contract with the Blues until 2033, having moved to Stamford Bridge in a £117 million deal.
The attacking midfielder will now follow in the footsteps of former Chelsea ace Eden Hazard and wear the number 17 shirt at the Premier League west London club.
The iconic jersey was previously worn by Hazard, as well as Pedro and Mateo Kovacic.
Andrey Santos, who joined Manchester United from Chelsea for about £50 million earlier this month, was the last player to don the shirt.
