Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has sent a clear message to Arsenal fans after the Gunners suffered a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League at the weekend.

Obi Mikel told Arsenal fans that they can now see what he has been saying for months because Mikel Arteta’s side have not been playing well.

Recall that Viktor Gyokeres’ goal was not enough as Bournemouth defeated Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

The outcome of the match means Arsenal is now six points ahead of second-position Man City, ahead of both sides’ fixture this coming weekend at Etihad Stadium.

“Now both teams (Arsenal and Manchester City) will play this coming weekend at the Etihad. If City wins, it will be three points, and they have a game in hand,” Obi Mikel said on the Obi One podcast.

“Now the Arsenal fans can see exactly what I have been talking about for months because this team has not been playing well.”
