Former Manchester United assistant coach, Rene Meulensteen, has named the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool as the teams to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Meulensteen also insisted that Manchester United should not be dismissed from the Premier League title race this season.

Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are currently in the top three positions on the Premier League table, while Man United is in ninth position.

“There will be little twists and turns around the corner,” Meulensteen told CasinoHawks as quoted by Metro UK when speaking about this season’s title race.

“So I still think Arsenal, Man City, and Liverpool are going to be fighting for the Premier League and we cannot rule out Man United if they go on this run we are hoping for.

“Because they [Man United] are only two points off Liverpool despite how the season has started.”
