Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has pinpointed the two Gunners players he believes turned the tide in Sunday’s narrow Premier League win over West Ham United.

Despite Leandro Trossard’s late second-half goal sealing a 1–0 win for Arsenal at the London Stadium, Arteta insisted the real heroes were Martín Odegaard and David Raya.

The Spaniard believes Odegaard and Raya created magical moments that helped Arsenal to defeat the Hammers during the encounter.

In his post-match press conference, Arteta said, “I think we got rewarded because Martin made an incredible action to win us the game, apart from David’s save in the 70th minute.

“If you want the chance to major trophies, you need the individuals creating those magic moments, and David certainly – like Martin Odegaard – created a moment to win us the game.”
