Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has advised Chelsea’s incoming manager, Xabi Alonso, to recall striker Nicolas Jackson once he takes over at Stamford Bridge.
Merson believes the Blues need players this summer ahead of next season after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
Recall that Chelsea had loaned Jackson to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, Merson said, “Chelsea need a manager who the fans are grateful that he’s managing Chelsea, and they have got that now with Xabi Alonso because he’s a top manager.
“They need players, and they need a clear-out. I would get Nicolas Jackson back, I would rip Jackson back,” he said.
