Galatasaray midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan has tipped Manchester City to beat Arsenal to the Premier League title this season.

Gundogan believes Pep Guardiola’s side has the moment now to go on a long winning streak.

He spoke following Man City’s Champions League win against Galatasaray in mid-week.

Arsenal are now four points ahead of City on the Premier League table after they lost 3-2 against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.

Asked if City would beat Arsenal to the title this season, Gundogan said as quoted by Metro UK: “I think so, yes.

“I think they’ve got the momentum right now, and the past has always shown that once they get that momentum, it’s very difficult to get something out of the games against them.

“They can go for a long winning streak right now,” he said.
