Manchester United legend Gary Neville expects Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.

Neville also believes that Mikel Arteta’s side could win the Champions League, but in the next two or three seasons.

Arsenal beat their north London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, 4-1 in the Premier League to open a six-point gap at the top of the table on Sunday.

Many pundits and fans have tipped Mikel Arteta’s side to claim the title this season after 22 years, and Neville believes they will achieve this dream.

“It’s not only a squad that should go on and win the Premier League, it’s a squad that I can see winning the Champions League in the next two or three years,” the Manchester United hero told The Gary Neville Podcast.

“It might not be this season because sometimes when you go on to win your first Premier League, you can get so consumed by that that you get done in a European game midweek in a two-legged tie.

“But they’re getting to that level of performance, resilience, stability, and consistency.”
