Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has insisted that Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard does not get the love he deserves from the club’s fans.
Ferdinand spoke following Arsenal’s Premier League North London 4-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend.
Recall that a goal from Trossard and a hat-trick from Eberechi Eze ensured the Gunners defeated Spurs at Emirates Stadium.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand Presents, Ferdinand said: “Trossard has been ridiculous. He doesn’t get the love he deserves from the Arsenal fans.
“His goal contributions since he signed, only Saka has got more. [It’s also the] important goals he scores, whether it is an equaliser, a late winner, it’s been a joke.”
Trossard, 30, joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023.
The Belgian has scored 33 goals and provided 28 assists in 139 games for Mikel Arteta’s side.
