Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, has insisted that manager, Mikel Arteta’s side will be remembered as the club’s greatest ever team if the Gunners win both the Premier League and the Champions League titles.
Wright stated this on Sky Sports after Arsenal’s 1-0 win over West Ham United on Sunday.
“I would put them [Arteta’s team] above the Invincibles because this team has the capability of being invincible in the Champions League and to win the Premier League as well,” Wright said.
“As great as that Invincible team was and the individuals they had, this team will surpass them with what they’ve done because they’ll have done something that not even that great team did.
“If they can finish it off, which I am praying they can, of course, they’ve to go down as Arsenal’s best team in history.”
