Chelsea manager, Liam Rosenior, has claimed his team was “punished” for failing to kill off their Premier League game against Burnley.

Zian Flemming scored a late header to cancel out Joao Pedro’s early opener at Stamford Bridge.

Although the Blues took the lead in the 4th minute, they failed to make their domination count against the Clarets.

The turning point of the match came in the 72nd minute, after Wesley Fofana was shown a second yellow card.

“We should have killed the game,” Rosenior told the media.

“I thought we started the game very well. After the first goal we were happy just to maintain possession and not be ruthless.

“You need to be ruthless in this league because if you don’t defend set plays well, which we haven’t, then you get punished.”
