Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has claimed his side lacked the pace to compete with Bournemouth, as they drew 1-1 on Tuesday night.
The result at the Vitality Stadium saw Arsenal confirmed as Premier League champions.
Kroupi Jr opened the scoring for the Cherries, before Erling Haaland’s last-gasp equalizer earned a point for City.
Guardiola, whose side beat Chelsea 1-0 to win the FA Cup last weekend, blamed fatigue for the poor outing.
He said: “Today we missed that pace, situation that is required to play against Bournemouth. They are a really good side.
“The travel to London from the Chelsea game meant it was not a really good final. Our calendar in this part of the season was really tough.”
