Ola Aina remains doubtful for Nottingham Forest’s trip to Aston Villa, according to head coach, Vítor Pereira, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Aina was stretchered off the pitch in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final tie last week.
Pereira expressed confidence after the game that the full-back will shake off the injury before the reverse fixture.
The Portuguese however failed to offer any assurance the Nigeria international will be available for Thursday’s encounter during his interaction with the media on Wednesday.
“We have a lot of doubts with players but we cannot have doubts around the spirit and what we want and our belief,” Pereira was quoted by the club’s official website.
Nottingham Forest will look to protect their 1-0 lead from the first leg.
