Europa League: Top Scorers After Aston Villa Thrash Freiburg To Win Trophy

Nottingham Forest’s Igor Jesus and Ludogorets’ Petar Stanić finished as the top goal scorers in the UEFA Europa League after Aston Villa thrashed Freiburg to win the trophy this season.

Recall that three goals from Youri Tielemans,  Emiliano Buendía, and Morgan Rogers ensured the Premier League side defeated the Bundesliga side 3-0 at Tüpraş Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey.

However,  Jesus and Stanić both have seven goals each to their names.

Europa League top scorers after Aston Villa defeated Freiburg:

7 goals – Igor Jesus and Petar Stanić.

6 goals – Real Betis’ Antony and Fenerbahce’s Kerem Aktürkoğlu.

5 goals – Freiburg’s Vincenzo Grifo, Dinamo’s Dion Beljo, Aston Villa’s John McGinn, Bologna’s Federico Bernardeschi, Celta Vigo’s Williot Swedberg, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Stuttgart’s Bilal El Khannouss.
