Afrobeats star Davido has recounted a lavish experience in Lebanon, revealing how a Lebanese family gifted him and his 15 friends luxury Rolex watches and an Audemars Piguet (AP) timepiece.
Speaking during a recent interview, Davido recalled meeting the family while he was in Dubai with his friends. According to him, they invited him and his group to Lebanon and went as far as arranging a private flight for all 15 of them.
“So I met this family in Dubai. They are Lebanese, and they invited us to Lebanon. So I was like, I’m here in Dubai with my friend, I brought everyone here, and can’t just leave them and travel. And the guy was like no problem; they can come along,” he said.
Davido explained that the family arranged for the group to travel by private jet and took them directly to their hotel without going through immigration. He said the accommodation alone cost about $65,000 per night, with each of his friends getting a private room.
