A former member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement (TLCCRM) has alleged that the church’s founder and leader, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, secretly wed a third wife.
The claim emerged in a video that has been widely shared on social media, in which the woman voiced her concerns about the alleged union and the lack of transparency surrounding it.
According to her, Pastor Muoka often holds his weddings privately to prevent objections from individuals who might challenge the marriage during the ceremony.
The ex-member stated that she would have opposed the wedding had she attended, revealing that the pastor’s previous sermons had even caused her to lose her home.
“Congratulations to our pastor on marrying his third wife. I understand why he keeps it secret, so that admirers like us won’t speak up if asked whether anyone has objections. If I had been there that day, I would have raised my hand,” she said.
She also claimed that Pastor Muoka tends not to marry women who are openly devoted in the church. Instead, she alleged, he chose an American woman similar to his late wife who had recently returned from abroad.
“One interesting thing is that he didn’t marry the women who are always rolling on the floor in worship. The woman he married is an American citizen, just like his late wife,” she added.
The woman further questioned the timing of the marriage, pointing out that it reportedly took place less than two years after the death of the pastor’s previous wife.
